No presentations, workshops, or rigid agendas.
Just a warm welcome and a chat over drinks. We’ll even pay for the first 17 drinks at every single event – one for each Sustainable Development Goal.

I don’t like Prosecco – can I still come?
Yes, we are drink-agnostic! We’ll pay for the first drink for the first 17 people who come along, and you can opt for tea or coffee, a soft drink, beer, wine, or, of course, a glass of Prosecco!

What is People. Planet. Prosecco.?
People. Planet. Prosecco. is a space for people to come together, meet new faces, and hear fresh ideas and perspectives about climate, sustainability and local initiatives—all in a relaxed and friendly setting. It’s about normalising conversations around sustainability and climate action, because tackling big challenges starts with simply talking about them.
At People. Planet. Prosecco. events, we step out of our bubbles and echo chambers to connect with others, share ideas, and maybe even spark some inspiration for positive change. Together, we’re creating the kind of open dialogue that helps us learn, grow, and build hopeful, sustainable futures.
Who is People. Planet. Prosecco. for?
Anyone interested in sustainability. We seek to attract a diverse crowd who have different perspectives, ideas, knowledge and questions. At our events, you can expect to meet sustainability professionals, people who work locally, students, people looking to change careers, business owners, grandparents, parents, government workers, researchers, and people who are simply curious about sustainability.
There is no formal agenda, no fee to attend (other than buying a drink from our host venue), and everyone is welcome. So feel free to come along!
I am old/young/fat/thin/local/new-in-town/white/brown/pink/straight/gay/trans/ “normal”/ “different”/Christian/Moslem/Jewish/an atheist/not a native speaker/etc. Am I REALLY welcome?
Yes. You are welcome. We think that whoever you are, you have something to contribute to the conversation. Feel free to come along!
What does it cost to attend a community event?
There are no fees to attend.
All we ask is that you buy at least one drink from our host venue, that kindly provides a place for us to meet.
If you’re one of the first 17 people to arrive, we’ll also pay for your first drink, thanks to our kind sponsors.
What should I expect from a community event?
A warm welcome, some time to get a drink and settle in, a few words from the host about the event and the format, conversations with 5-10 new people, and some open networking. Some closing words and goodbyes, and we’re done!
The whole event lasts around 2 hours, and you are welcome to leave early if needed.
I’m a bit nervous about attending…
We get it. It can be scary to do something new and overwhelming when there are lots of people in the room. Feel free to reach out to the organiser before you come along, and introduce yourself as “new” when you arrive, and they’ll do their best to help you settle in. Feel free to bring a friend, too, so that you’re not alone.

People. Planet. Prosecco. was started in Innsbruck, Austria by Suzanne Whitby, a facilitator, futurer, communicator, storyteller, and founder who is convinced that it’s possible to co-create hopeful, sustainable futures.
Now we're a growing collective of community hosts, facilitators, communicators, event organisers and pragmatic optimists scattered around Europe, sparking conversations within communities, local businesses and organisations.
